Codebreaker Turing’s novel reveals new talents

A fictional short story written by World War Two codebreaker Alan Turing has been published in full for the first time.

‘Pryce’s Buoy’ is believed to have been written by the noted mathematician about a sexual encounter for which he was arrested and convicted of gross indecency in 1952.

The work has been studied and transcribed in full for the first time at the University of Cambridge.
