Dramaturg Marlie Haco: ‘I’ve never actually been into my favourite shop!’

Marlie Haco is a multi-disciplinary theatre professional. She grew up in north London and trained on the National Theatre Directors Course, she holds an Acting Diploma from Central School of Speech and Drama, and an English Literature degree from Cambridge University. As a Director her work focuses on naturalism - a theatre style that seeks to create the illusion of reality. Her work as a Dramaturg, involves working with writers to realise their scripts, across a range of theatrical forms and genres. She was formerly Resident Director at Hampstead Theatre.
