A giant hot dog sculpture - measuring an huge 20 metres long - has returned to Times Square.

It first appeared in Times Square two years ago, but this version includes some brand-new details.

The artists said they wanted to give the giant hot dog a fresh look for this year's big event.

Paul Outlaw explained: "It's built on an 18-wheeler dump truck frame. It is carved foam that's been hard coated and painted.

"But it also has a hydraulic lift that raises it about 65 feet in the air."
