Kerry's Diarmuid O'Connor speaking to BBC Sport NI: "It was a tough game, a titanic battle as Kerry and Dublin always is down through the years and we're very happy to come out the other side of it.

"The talk at half-time was keep the heads, hold the nerve. We knew they would get a purple patch and they did at the start of the second half, we didn't deal with it as well as we would have liked but when we got hands on ball we controlled it and went from there.

"Mayo look very impressive, have brought in a lot of youth and boys playing massive football for them. We're looking forward to it."

Man of the match Paudie Clifford speaking to BBC Sport NI: "Mayo have been very impressive, they were last night so it's going to be a great game and hopefully we can come out on top."

Kerry boss Jack O'Connor speaking to BBC Sport NI: "We felt it was a three or four point wind which it proved to be in the end.

On the Dublin goal not given: "I put some of it down to good defending and we got a bit of luck obviously, lads were throwing their bodies on the line. Dublin came with everything as we knew they would. We knew it was going to be a fierce battle, we would have bitten your hand off to win by a point so to win by four is great."

On man of the match Paudie Clifford: "Paudie, it took him a while to get going this year with all the injuries but he's coming into form at a good time and I'm delighted for him."

On final against Mayo: "Kobe McDonald and Ryan O'Donoghue looked serious players yesterday so we will have our hands full but delighted to be there."

Seán Bugler keeps Dublin's hopes alive, calmly splitting the posts with just two minutes of normal time remaining.

The Dubs force another turnover straight from the restart and this time Niall Scully is on target to cut the gap to three.

Just over a minute remains at Croke Park. Is there one final twist still to come?

Sit back, relax and watch the pure chaos than enfolded earlier in the half when Kerry somehow prevented a Dublin goal with some last-ditch defending.

Dublin push bodies forward in search of scores, but Kerry exploit the space brilliantly.

Shane Murphy's quick kick-out sparks a rapid switch of play, and Tomás Kennedy is left in acres of room on the left to calmly split the posts.

The Kingdom restore their five-point lead with just three minutes of normal time remaining.

Seán Guiden has made a lively impact since coming on, but he can't make this chance count as his long-range effort drifts wide.

Paudie Clifford has just been immense and pulled the strings for Kerry all game.

Paudie Clifford produces another superb pass to pick out Brian Ó Beaglaoich on the right. His initial effort drifts wide, but play is brought back for a mark.

Ó Beaglaoich can't capitalise from the restart, however, pulling his effort wide to the left as Dublin look to mount another response.

A loose pass from Theo Clancy is intercepted by Mark O'Shea, who quickly feeds David Clifford. The Kerry talisman wastes no time in splitting the posts to extend the Kingdom's lead.

Kerry move five points clear after 62 minutes. Dublin respond with Seán Guiden replacing Paddy Small, while Tomás Kennedy comes on for Dylan Geaney for the Kingdom.

Jason Foley produces another vital intervention, getting across to deny Con O'Callaghan as the Dublin forward bursts through in search of a goal opportunity.

Kerry survive once more and regain possession as we enter the final 10 minutes of normal time at Croke Park.

Ger Brennan turns to his bench as Seán Bugler is introduced with Dublin looking for fresh impetus in the closing stages.

Kerry also make a double change, with Evan Looney replacing Paul Murphy and Armin Heinrich coming on for Gavin White.

Tempers flare after the goalmouth scramble, with Niall Scully shown a yellow card amid Dublin protests that the ball had crossed the line.

The Dubs quickly regroup as Cormac Costello clips over the next score to reduce the deficit.
