Pakistan have just had their wee wander round the stage. And bringing up the rear of their contingent is Mohammed 'Chico' Qureshi, a Glasgow curry shop owner and bowler.
Not a great start to the day for Chico, who was taught a bit of a lesson by a Jamaican fella in the men's singles.

With 215 medals up for grabs, there are a lot of athletes competing. Some 3,000... ish.
Two who won't be though, are household names Dina Asher-Smith and Katarina Johnson-Thompson, after the England athletes pulled out with injury.
There are still big names across many sports, though, and BBC Scotland picked out a few that might be worth keeping an eye on...

So they reckon this athlete parade will take 45-55 minutes. And they managed to stick to that in the rehearsals this week.
But it's fair to say that the timing is a little elastic... understandably, some of the athletes are ekeing out their big moment.

A big old bowl in Glasgow where some of the world's biggest performers have come to bellow.
Elton John, Beyonce and Taylor Swift, through to The Arctic Monkeys, Madonna and U2. Now, it's time for Tattie Marshall and the rest of Team Scotland.
The doors to this place opened on 30 September 2013 with Rod Stewart doing the honours, and hosted Gymnastics and Netball at Glasgow 2014.

Another first...
All 74 Commonwealth nations and territories have been asked to customise and decorate their own baton to represent their culture.
They were all designed and made in Glasgow, weighing in at around 800g each.
One privileged member of each team will carry out the King's baton, while one fellow team-mate will fly the flag.
