A service station has closed after a lorry lost its trailer and a large amount of fuel was spilled.

Officers from Thames Valley Police were called to the scene on the exit to junction two of the M40 at Beaconsfield Services, Buckinghamshire.

Recovery and incident support units are en-route to assist with the clean up but the force said it would take it a long time.

The services are currently closed to new traffic and officers are working to release the traffic trapped in the service station.
