Man dies after he becomes trapped under glass

A 22-year-old man has died after he became trapped under glass on a street in Bradford.

Emergency services were called to the incident on York Street at about 22:20 BST on Thursday.

West Fire and Rescue Service sent a technical rescue unit to the scene, and West Yorkshire Police said the man was taken to hospital by ambulance but he later died.

A joint investigation is taking place between police and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).

HSE inspectors attended the site on Friday to make some initial enquiries.

A HSE spokesperson said: "A joint investigation between HSE and West Yorkshire Police is underway."
