Man, 80, dies after being hit by car

A man has died after being hit by a car in a village near Lincoln.

Lincolnshire Police said the 80-year-old pedestrian was originally taken to hospital on Monday 20 July and the incident, which involved a black Ford Focus near to the John Bull pub in Bracebridge Heath.

In an update earlier, the force confirmed he died in hospital on Sunday.

They have reissued their appeal for information and urged anyone who witnessed the incident to get in touch.
