Digital visitor guide created for Tamar Bridge
BBCA visitor guide has been launched for the bridge that connects two counties in the South West.
Visitors can explore the Tamar Bridge, Royal Albert Bridge and the learning centre through a free digital and audio guide.
Tamar Crossings said it was hoped the guide would help people learn more about the history and engineering of the two crossings linking Devon and Cornwall.
The guide takes users behind the scenes and offers insights into the design, construction and ongoing story of the bridges, as well as first-hand perspectives from the people who maintain them.
'Important heritage'
Jane Cooper, visitor experience manager at Tamar Crossings, said: "We hope that the new features made possible through the guide, such as the bridges audio tour, will help to engage more people with learning about the important heritage of these iconic structures."
The guide is available to download via a free app, she added.
